How long does the Schengen visa process take from the Philippines?

Standard processing is 15 calendar days from the date of your VFS/BLS/embassy appointment, but for Filipinos it commonly takes 15–30 days depending on the embassy, season, and complexity of your case. Peak seasons (June–August, December) can push it past 30 days.

Which Schengen country should I apply through?

Accepted Answer

You apply through the country that is either (a) your main destination — where you'll spend the most nights, or (b) your first entry into the Schengen area, if nights are evenly split. Choosing 'the easiest' embassy without a real itinerary reason is a common refusal ground.

Do you guarantee approval?

Accepted Answer

No ethical coach can guarantee approval — the decision belongs to the consul. What we do guarantee is that your file will be strategically built, clearly written, and internally consistent. That's what dramatically improves approval odds.

Can I mention that I'm visiting a partner, or should I say 'friend'?

Accepted Answer

Always tell the truth. Consuls are trained to spot inconsistencies. Being open about visiting a partner is fine — being caught in a small lie is fatal. The strategy is not to hide the relationship, it's to prove your independence from it.

Question 5

My partner and I only met online. Is that a problem?

Accepted Answer

Not automatically. But you'll need a paper trail: chat logs across many months, video call records, financial transfers between accounts, and — critically — at least one in-person meeting documented with boarding passes and photos.

I don't have a BIR Certificate of Registration. Can I still apply?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but your file becomes harder. If you're serious about freelancing long-term, the COR is worth getting. If not, we compensate with contracts, bank statements, notarized income letters, and client engagement letters.

Question 7

My clients pay me through Wise/PayPal — is that a red flag?

Accepted Answer

No. What matters is consistency and traceability. Six months of recurring deposits from named senders, matched to contracts, tells a stronger story than a corporate payslip.

I was refused. When can I re-apply?

Accepted Answer

You can re-apply immediately, but you shouldn't. Give yourself 4–8 weeks to rebuild the file. A rushed re-application with the same weaknesses will fail again — faster.

Do I have to disclose my previous refusal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's on the form. Lying about it is grounds for a lifetime ban. The right strategy is to acknowledge the refusal in your cover letter and clearly show what has changed since.
